Robert Downey Jr. Sends Back Book Advance
|
|
Robert Downey Jr. has postponed plans to write a memoir, the Associated Press reports. A spokeswoman for the actor said Downey returned his advance to publisher HarperCollins, although she declined to say why he's not writing the book at this point. The project was first announced two years ago. Forty-three-year-old Downey starred in this year's blockbuster hit Iron Man and received an Oscar nomination for his starring role in Chaplin, but has struggled with drug problems in his career. He'll next be seen in the action comedy Tropic Thunder, opposite Ben Stiller and Jack Black. |
