Katy Perry and and Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy have reportedly split up. According to People.com, they took a trip to Mexico over the holidays, but broke up before the New Year. An insider says, "It's a hardship, but she's regrouping." Another person close to Perry adds, "It's sad, but they were fighting a lot because they never saw each other and now she is going on tour. She just needed a clear head. It's been non-stop work for her." A spy told the New York Post that the couple's trip to Mexico didn't go well. Perry was seen crying and wailing, "Don't go." The insider says, "Her parents had to pull her away." McCoy, meanwhile, seemed to address the split in a December 31st post on FriendsOrEnemies.com blog. He posted lyrics to hip-hop group Main Source's breakup song "Looking at the Front Door." The song features the lines: "We fight every night, now that's not kosher/I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer/And wake up to be greeted by an argument again/You act like you're ten."
