Contest Rules
|
Who Can Enter
1. Entrants must be Wisconsin residents who are 18 years of age or older.
2. Employees of Radio Station WXSS, Entercom Milwaukee, LLC. Entercom Broadcasting, any other sponsoring company, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any other Milwaukee area radio station and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.
Entry
1. No purchase is necessary to enter. For those contests held where an admission is charged, an alternative means of entry will be provided to. Qualified entrants may enter as often as they wish unless specified otherwise.
2. Contestants may only win one prize per household every 30 days. For contests that run beyond 30 days contestants may only win one prize per contest. Contests with major prizes may have different restrictions.
3. Entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. Entries that are determined to be fraudulent by station officials will be void and the person making such an entry barred from further participation in that contest. All entries become the property of Entercom Milwaukee, LLC., and will not be acknowledged or returned.
4. WXSS Management shall be the sole arbiters in all matters of eligibility and their decisions shall be final. Entry into station contests constitutes agreement by contestant to abide by these rules.
Prize(s)
1. All prizes awarded on-air must be picked up at the WXSS studios at 11800 West Grange Avenue during normal business hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
2. Prizes will be released to winners only. Winners must present a valid state photo ID and a Social Security Card at the time they pick up the prize and sign a standard release form that includes a valid social security number. Prizes will not be mailed.
3. WXSS reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for all contests and giveaways. Prizes are not transferable for cash. No substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.
4. Station is not responsible for prizes not claimed within 30 days of being awarded, or in the case of a time sensitive prize, within its period of usability. Such prizes shall be considered forfeit and disposed of at the discretion of station management.
5. Winners are responsible for paying all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on estimated retail value as set forth in these rules.
Odds of Winning/Miscellaneous
1. Odds of winning depend on the number of [correct] entries received.
2. Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at the WXSS studios at 11800 West Grange Avenue during normal business hours of 8am to 5pm.
3. Station contests are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are void where prohibited. WXSS and Entercom Milwaukee, LLC. Entercom Broadcasting, any other sponsoring company, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
4. WXSS, Entercom Milwaukee, LLC., and Entercom Broadcasting reserve the right to change, alter or modify these rules at any time with or without written notice. These rules are generic. Individual contest rules may vary.
RULES FOR CALL-IN CONTESTS
Generic Contest rules apply except where otherwise noted.
How to Enter
1. No purchase is necessary to enter. Qualified entrants may enter as often as they wish.
2. Listeners will be asked to call in on a designated telephone line at a particular time or times. At the time that calls are solicited, the criteria for winning will be announced (e.g., first six callers, tenth caller, first caller with the correct answer).
3. One or more contests may be announced from time to time. More than one contest may run simultaneously, but entries will only be solicited for one contest at a time. WXSS is not responsible for telephone system failure or other inability of entrants to reach telephone entry line.
4. Winners will be selected by in accordance with the criteria announced when calls are solicited. The contest will be judged by Station personnel, and the decision of the judges will be final as to all matters, including (i) the order in which calls were received and (ii) whether any answer required to be given is correct.
5. All entries received from ineligible entrants will be void.
6. By calling the designated telephone line, each contestant gives permission to WXSS to record and/or broadcast contestant’s telephone call. All entries become the property of Radio Station WXSS, Entercom Milwaukee, LLC And Entercom Broadcasting. |
